For the Sundew I used p_MegaTK shader with p_scatter_wrap.

The work was made for the contest “Beautiful Beast” on www.render.ru .
It got the first place as a result of the spectators’ voting. According to the jury it was second.

May be, such a predatory plant resulted from closely related hybridization between sundew and Venus’s flytrap, or, perhaps, some secret experiment, ecological catastrophe or nature’s humor might cause it?
Or could it be my caricature on Windows Vista?
I just do not know, why did I remember Windows Vista after words «Beautiful Beast»?
